Terms of Service

Last updated: June 12, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of FrameOS (frameos.studio), operated by FrameOS ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using FrameOS on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

The service

FrameOS is a software service that turns long-form podcasts and videos into short clips. You upload or link a source video; our pipeline analyzes it, reframes it, generates captions and transcripts, and produces short clips you can review, download, and — if you connect a channel — publish to your own social accounts. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate account information and be legally capable of entering into these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • Submit only content that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to process, including any third-party footage, music, branding, or personal likenesses it contains.
  • Not submit or publish content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates the rights of others.
  • Not misuse the service — including attempting to disrupt it, access other users' data, resell it without permission, or use it to violate the terms of the platforms you publish to.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Your content and our license

You retain full ownership of the videos you submit and the clips FrameOS generates from them. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely as needed to provide the service to you — for example, to transcribe and analyze your video, render clips, store your outputs, and publish clips to channels you have connected when you choose to publish. This license ends when the content is deleted from the service.

Publishing to connected channels

If you connect a social channel (such as a YouTube channel), clips are published only when you explicitly choose to publish them, and only to your own channel. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms, and you can disconnect a channel at any time from the dashboard. See our Privacy Policy for how connected-channel data is handled.

Payment

Paid plans are billed through third-party payment processors at the prices shown at checkout. We do not store your card details.

Disclaimer of warranties

FrameOS is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Automated video processing is imperfect: we do not guarantee that clips, captions, or transcripts will be error-free, or that the service will be uninterrupted. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FrameOS and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using FrameOS and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service, in which case we will make reasonable efforts to give you notice and an opportunity to export your clips. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in the dashboard. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
