Rotate video online
FrameOS lets you rotate and flip video clips in the timeline editor. Correct a sideways recording, flip a mirrored clip, or rotate footage to the right orientation before it becomes part of your vertical export.
Fix video orientation before export
Phone cameras recorded in portrait, cameras accidentally held sideways, and screen captures with unexpected orientations are all common in real creator workflows. The FrameOS rotation tool corrects orientation in the timeline without re-encoding the source — you set the correct angle, preview the result, and export.
Rotate 90°, 180°, or custom angle
FrameOS supports 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise, 180° flip, and custom rotation angles for cases where the camera horizon was slightly off. Horizontal and vertical flips are also available — useful for mirrored footage from webcams or front-facing cameras where text appears backwards.
Rotation is non-destructive until export
Like all edits in the FrameOS timeline, rotation is applied non-destructively in the preview. The source file is not modified. When you export, the rotation is baked into the final clip at the quality level you choose.

FAQ
How do I rotate a video in FrameOS?
Select the clip in the timeline editor, open orientation controls, choose the rotation angle or flip direction, and preview before exporting.
Can I flip a video horizontally in FrameOS?
Yes. Horizontal and vertical flips are available alongside 90°/180° rotation — useful for mirrored webcam or front-camera footage.
Does rotating a video reduce quality?
The rotation is applied non-destructively to the preview. At export, it's baked in using the output quality you select — the same as any other edit.
